Young Professionals

The Young Professionals program was created by the Chamber to empower and activate young professionals ages 21-40 in the Grand Traverse region by providing a dynamic environment for networking and social and professional development. The program has four primary objectives:

1. Create a network of young professionals.
2. Provide regularly scheduled events.
3. Provide development opportunities for young professionals.
4. Provide network and connection to community and volunteer opportunities.

Young Professionals held its official kick-off event on March 26, 2008 at Wilderness Crossing. Since then, the program has experienced explosive growth and response from both young professionals in the region and community leaders and employers. The young professionals now have over 700 members.
